Post-doctorate in the Department of Chemistry - UFSCar (2004) and visiting researcher at University of Wisconsin – Madison (USA) in 2012/2013. Currently is Full Professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering - UFSCar, developing research on electrochemical engineering, adsorption, and electrosorption.

Bachelor in Chemistry (1995) and Master in Agrochemistry and Agrobiochemistry by Federal University of Lavras. Ph.D. and post-doctorate in Physical-Chemistry in the Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos / University of Sao Paulo. Currently is Adjunct Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering - UFSCar, developing research on catalysis, photocatalysis, adsorption and environmental chemistry.
